| Southlake Dance Academy is Southlake, Texas' premier dance studio. Established in 1995, we train over 450 students offering ballet, tap, modern, jazz, lyrical, drill team and hip hop classes. Our highly trained instructors are known for their professionalism, providing quality and caring dance instruction. SDA offers classes ranging in ages from 3 years to adults. We have 3 spacious studio's at our facility conveniently located at Southlake Town Square in the West End District. Alumni can be seen teaching in private studios in NY as well as performing on Broadway, with the Texas Ballet Theater and Gap and Old Navy commercials. Two of our students have gone on to become successful professional models. Southlake Dance Academy also houses their own performing dance company. Under the leadership of Allison Perkins, students are able to gain the knowledge of both the artistic and technical aspects of dance. Students perform and compete several times a year. Most recently the Southlake Dance Company performed a Christmas production at the American Airlines Center in Dallas for two crowds of over 20,000 people. The company has received many awards in choreography and performance. |
