Miss Pam
Pamela Perkins has been an integral part of the Southlake Dance scene for the past
9 years and opened the doors to Southlake Dance Academy in 1995. She brings
years of professional dance experience to Southlake.  A Kansas City native, Pam
began dancing at an early age.  She received a scholarship at age twelve to enroll at
the University of MO and attend the Kansas City Conservatory of Fine Arts.
After many years of training, Pam began dancing professionally with the Jimmy
DeFore Dancers, Kansas City Civic Ballet, Starlight Theater, several Kansas
City television programs,and most recently, performed drama and dance at the
Granbury Opera House.

"Miss Pam" has experience as an owner and artistic director of a dance studio since
1980. Her great passion for dance, her emphasis on technique, and her loving
attention and positive attitude, is shared with every one of her special dancers.  Many
of Pam's students have gone on to pursue careers in dance.  Some have even danced
professionally with companies like the Dallas/Fort Worth Ballet Company, the
NY Broadway Theater,and have even been seen dancing in Gap commercials. Pam
resides in Southlake and has been married to Dr. Randall Perkins for 37 years. In
addition, Pam shares her studio with her daughter Allison, a TCU Dance major
graduate, and SDA instructor.
