| Vicki Miller, instructor at Southlake Dance Academy, was recently invited to share her expertise in both theatre Jazz and dance team high kick choreography at Delmar College in Corpus Christi, TX. She worked with a team member performance ensemble under the direction of Shawnee Jones- Bonnette. Ms. Miller staged a five and a half minute piece opening with a traditional Can-Can and transitioned into Broadway style jazz using chair props. The fall dance concert will occur on November 19th, at Richardson Auditorium in Corpus Christi. The ensemble performed an excerpt of the piece for the Delmar Alumni Faculty Fundraiser where it received rave reviews. Ms. Miller has been a beloved jazz, tap, ballet, and drill team instructor for the past eight years at Southlake Dance Academy. |
