Southlake Dance Academy

This year we are striving for new heights!! So, there are a few attire requirement changes that you need to know about:

What To Wear:

Ages 3-5~ Any Solid Color Leotard, Pink Tights, Pink Ballet Shoes, and Tan Tap Shoes.  Hair must be pulled away from their face.

Ages 6 & 7~ Black Leotard, Pink Tights for Ballet. Tan Shoes for Tap & Jazz.  Please ask your instructors if they want them to change tight colors for class, or if they can wear just the pink or tan for the combo ballet/tap/jazz classes.  They need Tan Tap Shoes and Tan Jazz Shoes.  Hair must be pulled away from their face.

 Ages 8 and older:

Ballet: Black Leotard, Black Skirt or Black Booty Shorts (please ask your instructor to see if she has a preference).  Pink ballet shoes/pink pointe shoes.  Hair must be in a bun.  No jewelry please.  

Tap/Jazz & Leaps & Turns: Any Solid Color Leotard or fitted Tank Top (no sleeved or printed  shirts please), Any Solid Color Booty Short~Capri Pant~or Jazz Pant (no jeans or other bottoms accepted).   Black Slip-On or Lace-Up Tap Shoes, and Tan Jazz Shoes.  Please put hair in a ponytail and no jewelry.

Lyrical/Modern: Any Solid Color Leotard or fitted Tank Top (no sleeved or printed shirts please), Black  Booty Short or Capri Pant,  Barefoot~PAWS~or Jazz Shoes are acceptable shoe wear.  Please put hair in a ponytail and no jewelry.

Hip Hop: Must Wear Workout or Dance Attire, and Black Converse or Converse-Like shoes. The shoes do not need to have tread on the bottom, this is to help prevent injuries.  Please put hair in a ponytail and no jewelry.

Drill Team: Any Solid Color fitted Tank Top (no sleeved or printed shirts please).  Any solid color booty shorts, capri pants, or jazz pants. Wear Black Jazz Shoes.  Please put hair in a ponytail and no jewelry.
